The 35 Best Gaming Deals in the Prime Day Sales — Hand-Picked by Our Deals Experts

There’s a surprisingly healthy amount of video game deals up for grabs in the 2026 Prime Day sales, including some killer discounts for PS5, Switch, and even Xbox owners. (I promise I haven’t forgotten you.)

Prime Day can even rival Black Friday for some of the best deals of the year, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Just remember that you’ll likely need a Prime membership to check out most of these exclusive deals.

TL;DR – Best Prime Day Gaming Deals Today

Some highlights that stood out to me include Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which is down to $29.99 for Nintendo Switch. Upgrade that to Switch 2 for 10 bucks, and you’re still looking at the game’s lowest price ever for each console generation. It’s my top pick of the sale, at least for now.

But the big deals don’t stop there either, as you can also picking up MGS Delta Snake Eater for just $25 right now, an unbelievably good deal for one of the best games of all time (well, the remake of it at least). There’s also Resident Evil Requiem, arguably one of the best games of 2026 so far, and certainly one of my favorite horror-action games.

Other notable standouts I should probably mention include Expedition 33 for $40 ($10 saving), Tears of the Kingdom getting its first ever discount for Switch 2, and even Hades 2 dropping $10 as well for Switch 2, now just $39.99.

PSA: You’ll Need an Amazon Prime Membership!

Note that this is an Amazon Prime Day Event, which means you will need an Amazon Prime membership in order to take advantage of most of the deals that pop up.

If you don’t have an annual membership, you can sign up for a 30-day fee trial if you’re new, or $15 for one month if you’ve been a past member. If you’re a student, Amazon is giving you a break. Students get a 6-month free trial and then 50% off the annual membership.

Switch 2 Game Deals

There’s more than enough physical game deals to get stuck into over the Prime Day sales. The biggest standout is probably The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – which is currently down to $59.99 for Switch 2, and $49.99 for the OG Switch.

Some other highlights include Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for $29.99 – which is an outstanding deal. Plus, as I mentioned, it’s $10 to upgrade to Switch 2 Edition, which is a better deal than buying the Switch 2 Edition outright at $44.99 (which is also on sale right now).

There’s also Mario Tennis Fever for $49.99, Resident Evil Requiem for $53.19, Super Mario Odyssey for $39.88, and plenty more to check out right now.

Switch 2 Console Deal?

If you haven’t already got a Switch 2, I’d recommend checking out the “Switch 2: Choose Your Own Game Bundle” which is the best offer you can find on the console right now.

It’s especially notable considering the console’s $50 price hike incoming in September this year. Total savings, not excluding the incoming price change, is $80.

There’s also a Switch 2 Amazon Resale deal, which drops the console to around $341 (see here), but it’s been going in and out of stock all day, so it’s worth checking in every so often to see if it’s available again.

Switch 2 Memory Card for $40

And, if you’re looking for something to store all your games on, then look no further than the Samsung 256GB MicroSD Express Card for Switch 2, which is also down to just $39.99 — it’s a wonderful deal and probably the best we’ll see this year.

10% Off Nintendo eShop Cards

Right now, the $10 Nintendo eShop Gift Card (Digital Code) is down to just $8.98 at Amazon, saving you 10% on your purchase.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this discount, but after disappearing for a while, it’s back ahead of Prime Day and ready for anyone looking to stock up on eShop credit before the biggest sales event of the summer.

PS5 Game Deals

If you’re looking to build out your PlayStation video game library this summer, Prime Day is here to help you do it and save some cash.

Amazon has a wide variety of PS5 game deals available right now as part of the sale, including price cuts on Resident Evil Requiem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and so many more.

There are some truly exciting discounts in this batch of PS5 game deals, too. Resident Evil Requiem’s deal price marks a new all-time low for it at Amazon, while Clair Obscur’s price marks a return to its lowest price point there.

As a big fan of both of these games, I definitely think now is a great time to make a move on them if you’ve had them in mind.

PS5 Console Deals?

Year in and year out, some of Amazon’s best Prime Day deals can be found in the resale section. The best deal going for those after a PS5 right now will be the “Used – Like New” PlayStation 5 Slim via Amazon Resale. It’s down to $499.61 while stock lasts, and I’d snap this one ASAP if I was you.

Xbox Game Deals

Look Xbox fans, I’m sorry you’re at the bottom of the list, but you can’t blame me. Plus, a good chuck of the PS5 deals also apply to you good folk, so there’s isn’t a whole bunch of differences to really dig into. Still, I’ve done my best here.
