Amazon just recently dropped the price on one of LG's newest OLED gaming monitors. The 27" LG UltraGear 27GX700A-B QHD 280Hz Tandem OLED Gaming Monitor is available for just $399.99 with free shipping. Alternatively, you can purchase it directly from LG and you'll get $100 in Rinse (dry cleaning) credit. This monitor normally retails for $850, although recently I've seen the price hover closer to $600. This is the least expensive Tandem OLED monitor current available and includes a 2 year warranty with OLED burn-in coverage.

The LG UltraGear GX700A is a 2025 model featuring an OLED panel with LG's coveted Primary RGB Tandem technology. Tandem OLED is better than traditional OLED in two ways: 1) it's brighter, and 2) it's less prone to burn-in. You usually only see this in premium electronics, like LG's highest-end Gallery Series TVs or the latest generation Apple iPad Pro tablets.

The rest of the specs are great as well. The GX700A is a 27" display with a 2560×1440 or QHD resolution, measuring out to a respectable pixel density of 108ppi, and a fast 280Hz refresh rate with Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. If you pair it with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card or higher, you may be able to hit the 280fps ceiling on older games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Valorant. For newer games like Battlefield 6 or Black Ops 7, you'll need to step up to at least an RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon 9070 XT. The display comes equipped with DisplayPort and HDMI ports and a 2-port USB hub.

As mentioned earlier, this monitor has a 2 year warranty that includes OLED burn-in coverage. That's still pretty uncommon across most OLED brands, especially when you're looking at the less expensive models. Most come with just a 1 year warranty with no burn-in protection.
