Newly improved conversion rates make the beloved EA Play Game Pass trick better than ever. By stacking the right codes, you can exploit this workaround to bring the effective monthly cost of Game Pass Ultimate down to just £7.28/month.
There are also some amazing deals on Corsair gaming headsets and mice, alongside a PlayStation Portal "Used – Like New" offer at Amazon Resale for just £167.20. Let's check out the rest of the best UK deals today, alongside my guide on the aforementioned Game Pass deal, just below.
10 Months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for £73
There is one crucial catch before you attempt this: you must not have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. Whether you are currently on Core, PC, or Ultimate, your membership needs to be fully expired for the loophole to work. If your account is inactive and ready, here is the step-by-step guide to securing the deal.
- Buy three 12-month EA Play gift cards for £19.99 each. You can grab these at Amazon, but note that Amazon limits purchases to one per order to prevent fraudulent activity, meaning you’ll need to make three separate transactions.
- Redeem your codes. Head over to your Microsoft account redemption page and input all three codes to bank 36 months of EA Play.
- Buy one month of Game Pass Ultimate. Head to the Xbox store and purchase a single month of Ultimate at the newly reduced £16.99 price point to trigger the conversion.
- Trigger the conversion. Buying one month of Ultimate from ShopTo for £12.85, then redeeming, will automatically trigger Microsoft's system to convert your 36 months of EA Play into roughly nine months of Game Pass Ultimate.
- Result: 36 months EA Play converts to ~9 months of Game Pass Ultimate, with 1 additional month added separately – giving ~10 months total for £72.82 (effectively £7.28/month).
Microsoft sometimes will even reward you with an additional month for enabling recurring billing, potentially making your savings increase and this working out at 11 months for effectively £6.62 per month. To achieve this, just turn off recurring billing before redeeming your Game Pass Ultimate code from ShopTo.
