Walmart+ Members Get First Dibs on This LEGO Technic Porsche 911 RSR Deal for Prime Day

Walmart+ members get a 12 hour head start on a select number of Walmart’s Prime Day deals, and this is the one of the best deals available. Right now, Walmart has discounted the LEGO Technic Porsche 911 RSR 42096 race car set down to $110. That’s nearly 40% off the retail price of $175 and a phenomenal score for a Technic vehicle of this size and complexity. It’s also, in my opinion, one of the cooler looking Technic car models to date.

If you’ve never been a Walmart+ subscriber in the past, you’re eligible for a 30-day free trial. Otherwise you can sign up for either the $12.95 monthly plan or $98 annual plan. Walmart+ gives you a whole host of benefits that extends beyond free expedited shipping, including a Paramount+ Essential subscription. You’ll also get early access to the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition when it goes live on October 10.

37% Off LEGO Technic Porsche 911 RSR 42096

The Porsche 911 RSR was released way back in 2019, so it will likely be retired within the near future. This is a faithful replica of the Porsche 911 RSR supercar used in motorcross endurance races. The car measures 19″ long, 7″ wide, and 5″ high and is comprised of 1,580 pieces. With this deal, you’re paying a per-brick price of 7 cents. Standout features include a six-cylinder boxer engine with moving pistons and independent suspension, working differential, and authentic visual touches like a rear wing with swan neck mounts, extended rear diffuser and aerodynamic side mirrors, black spoked rims, and realistic head and tail lights. Like most larger Technic builds, this set is marketed for ages 18+, which is justifiable considering the number of bricks relative to the scale of the model and the intrinsic difficulty of Technic pieces. If you’re a LEGO Technic vehicle collector, this is an obvious must-add to your collection especially at this price.
