The Samsung S90F 4K OLED TV Drops to the Lowest Price of the Year During Samsung’s Memorial Day Sale

Of all places, the official Samsung Store is offering the lowest price on the outstanding Samsung S90F 4K OLED Smart TV during its Memorial Day Sale. For a very limited time, you can pick up the 65″ model for $1,199.99 shipped or the 77″ model for $1,799.99 shipped, beating out any other vendor by at least $100.

What if you see a higher price?

There is a good chance you will click on the link and see a price that’s $100 higher. All you need to do is reload the page a couple of times to see the discounted price (for us the magic number is two). Apparently Samsung is only showing the deal approximately 33% of the time, so you’ll have to game the system a bit.

Samsung S90F 4K QD-OLED TV Memorial Day Deals

The S90F is the 2025 model in Samsung’s S90 OLED TV lineup. If you were to compare Samsung’s TVs with LG’s TVs, the Samsung S90F would be comparable to the LG Evo C5. It’s equipped with a quantum dot OLED panel, which is only found in Samsung’s higher end TVs. QD OLED TVs are brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs while retaining all of the other benefits of OLED like the near instaneous response time, true black levels, and near-infinite contrast ratio. The Samsung S90F also has the features you’d want in a gaming TV, including a native 120Hz panel, HDMI 1.4 ports, variable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode.

Is this TV good for Nintendo Switch 2?

Despite being a current generation console, the Nintendo Switch 2 has lax TV requirements compared to the PS5 or Xbox Series X. When the Switch is connected to its dock and a television, it is only capable of outputting a 4K resolution signal at up to 60 frames per second. It can go up to 120fps if the resolution drops to 1080p, but the data rate required for both these options is pretty much the same, and you would much rather play any game in 4K. That said, the Switch 2 will still benefit greatly from the OLED panel’s stellar image quality (much like how the Switch OLED was a substantial visual upgrade from the original Switch).
