Another San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone, leaving in its wake a ton of trailers that give an exciting preview of the future of movies and TV shows. This year was led by new looks at Avengers: Doomsday, The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Lanterns, Clayface, Resident Evil, Blade Runner 2099, Coyote vs. Acme, and many more.
These were only a few of the trailers that debuted this past week, and we’ve gathered the rest of the biggest ones below so you can check them all out in one place. We’d love to know which ones were your favorite, so let us know below!

Avengers: Doomsday
SDCC week kicked off in a major way with the first official trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. While we have yet to see Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom without his mask on, his presence and power is felt in this trailer, especially when he stops Thor’s Stormbreaker by simply holding out two fingers.
We also get a glimpse of of our favorite Fox X-Men like Professor X, Magneto, Beast, and Cyclops, Steve Rogers’ return, The Fantastic Four, Ant-Man, The Thunderbolts / New Avengers, Namor, Shuri / Black Panther, M’Baku, Shang-Chi fighting Gambit, Loki, Mystique fighting Yelena, Sam Wilson / Captain America, Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, and more.
Marvel also returned to Hall H during SDCC and debuted even more footage, but the studio has yet to release it to the world. We were in the room and saw it for ourselves, and it focused on Doctor Doom raising up an army of dormant Sentinels. Perhaps even more interestingly, it also gave some more depth to the villain, as we hear Sue Storm talking about how, “he used to be be kind, he used to be caring. Everything he loved was taken from him. He was broken.”
Clayface
We received a new and horrifying look at DC Studios’ Clayface, which is set to hit theaters on October 23, 2026. The footage features a ton of body horror, and it shows how it is positioning itself in a much darker corner of the DCU.
“Matt Hagen’s meteoric rise from Gotham street kid to Hollywood leading man is tragically cut short when a local crime boss’s actions leave him horribly disfigured. Abandoned by his team and with nothing left, Matt seeks out a cutting edge treatment that miraculously returns him to his former self… but also unexpectedly affects his grip on reality, spiraling him down a destructive path of all-consuming revenge.
Lanterns

SDCC provided us with our best look yet at Lanterns, the upcoming HBO Max series starring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart. The show is set to premiere on August 16, 2026, and we think we now know who the real villain of the show is based on this new footage.

Resident Evil
Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil will soon be scaring us in theaters, and SDCC helped with the wait by giving us a new look at the adaptation starring Austin Abrams, Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser.
In this all-new story, we follow Abrams’ Bryan, a medical courier, who finds himself in the middle of an unimaginably horrible night. And yes, we’ll be getting some nods to the video games, and this latest trailer featured two pretty cool ones!
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will make its way to Prime Video this November, and SDCC teased a bit of what fans can expect from these new episodes with a brand-new trailer.
Not only will we get to see Sauron forging the One Ring, but we also learned we’ll meet the Nazgnagôl, the earlier Second Age incarnation of the Nazgûl we know from the Third Age, that Gandalf will actually become Gandalf, Jamie Campbell Bower’s Celeborn (Galadriel’s Husband!) will join the fun, and Simon Pegg will be voicing the Balrog. Yeah, that’s a lot and we’re here for it!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ fourth season has already begun, but that didn’t stop Paramount+ from sharing a new trailer that gives a glimpse of what else is in store in future episodes.

Blade Runner 2099

Prime Video shared the long-awaited debut trailer for Blade Runner 2099 at SDCC alongside confirming all eight episodes will be released on November 25, 2026. This series stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer and takes place 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049. The story takes place in Los Angeles during a time where the replicants have taken over after an uprising and humans are now considered second-class citizens.
Schafer plays Cora, a human fugitive who is pretending to be a Blade Runner. She’ll join forces with Yeoh’s Olwen, who is a replicant Blade Runner on the brink of death, and they’ll need to hunt a runaway replicant who is hiding a truth that could collapse the city.
Coyote vs. Acme
Coyote vs. Acme’s final trailer was a highlight of SDCC for us, especially because the film was almost never released as Warner Bros. Discovery shelved it in 2023 for a $30 million tax write-off.
This film, which will be released in theaters on August 28, 2026, is a live-action/animated hybrid comedy film starring Will Forte, Lana Condor, Tone Bell, and John Cena, and see Wile E. Coyote (Genius) finally fighting back against Acme after the many years of agony the company has caused him. He teams up with Forte’s Avery, a billboard accident lawyer, and they take on Acme and its corporate counsel Buddy Crane (Cena).
We also were able to reveal that Coyote vs. Acme is getting a physical home media release with NSFW John Cena outtakes, so be sure to be on the lookout for that alongside falling anvils from Acme!
Carrie

Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie will make its way to Prime Video on October 7, 2026, and we got our best look yet at the new series that stars Summer Howell.
“Misfit high‑schooler Carrie White (Summer Howell) has spent her life hidden away inside the walls of her home with her fiercely protective mother, Margaret (Samantha Sloyan),” the official description reads. “After her father’s sudden, untimely death thrusts her into the unforgiving ecosystem of public high school, Carrie is forced to navigate a viral bullying scandal that tears through her community, the relentless pressure and casual cruelty of the social‑media age, and the awakening of mysterious telekinetic powers that rise alongside her adolescence.”
Avatar: Seven Havens Gets Paramount+ Release Date and Teaser Trailer

Avatar: Seven Havens is officially headed to Parmount+ on October 9, and we got to see the new series in action at SDCC. This 26-episode 2D-animated series from Avatar creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko revolves around a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm. In this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.
Reacher

Reacher Season 4 arrives on Prime Video on August 12, 2026, and sees Jack Reacher “back and bigger than ever.” This new season is based on Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow and will see our hero going from rural America to the streets of New York City.
Neagley

Neagley is a spin-off series of Reacher that stars Jack’s protege, Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), an ex-military police officer who is working as private investigator in Chicago. She’ll be diving deep into a dangerous case involving a friend from her past who was killed under suspicious circumstances.
Neagley will premiere on Prime Video on September 16, 2026.
Gundam RG XARX-ZERO
Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is a new anime series in the RG Project, a new vision for Gundam that aims to be a multi-media universe crafted by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Star Wars: Visions Volume 3).
Gundam RG XARX-ZERO opens this new initiative and is set roughly 100 years before the events of Gundam Rogue Orbit.
Queen of the Damned

Following The Vampire Lestat, Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles will continue in Queen of the Damned, which stars Shiela Atim as Akasha, the first vampire. Atim will be joined by Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, and Eric Bogosian.
Matchbox the Movie
Inspired by the iconic Mattel toys, Matchbox the Movie tells the tale of a group of friends get their lives sent into chaos when an undercover CIA agent named Sean (John Cena), their former leader, returns “to their small town and unwittingly gets them embroiled in a frantic international pursuit to save the world.”
Matchbox the Move will be released on Apple TV on October 9, 2026, and also stars Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Paris, Danai Gurira, Golshifteh Farahani, Corey Stoll, and Bill Camp.
Neuromancer
Apple TV’s Neuromancer will premiere on January 22, 2027, and it is a 10-episode sci-fi series that is based on the novel of the same name by William Gibson. It stars Callum Turner, Briana Middleton, Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, and Clémence Poésy.
The series follows a “damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrusts into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.
Dark Matter
Dark Matter Season 2 premieres on Apple TV on August 28, 2026, and these new episodes pick up with the Dessens as they “settle into a quiet life in a world that finally seems safe until the unimaginable forces them to run once again.”
Percy Jackson the Olympians

Percy Jackson Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on November 20, 2026, and SDCC gave us a trailer that warns “the Titan’s curse is upon us.” We hear Percy saying he wouldn’t hesitate to take on the curse to save those he loves.
Ebenezer
Not only did we get the first trailer for Johnny Depp’s Ebenezer, but the actor made a surprise appearance at SDCC as Ebenezer Scrooge himself to help promote the film.
