Silent Hill: Townfall Gets New Trailer, Release Date at PlayStation State of Play

During the PlayStation State of Play, a brand new trailer teased the story and gameplay of Silent Hill: Townfall.

Unlike most Silent Hill games, this one will be first-person and not set in the town of Silent Hill at all. Players will sneak around a spooky town in Scotland, using items like bottles to distract monsters to avoid direct conflict.

Despite not taking place in the titular town, Townfall will embrace the themes and aesthetics of the franchise by having the main character explore a spooky, misty town which he is mysteriously linked to. The trailer confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall is releasing on September 24 for PS5 and PC.

Here's everything announced at State of Play June 2026 if you need a catch up on what PlayStation has in store.
