Amazon currently has the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless gaming headset (PlayStation 5 model) for only $281.99 shipped. That’s about 20% off the $350 MSRP. IGN picked the Nova Pro Wireless the best gaming headset of 2024, and as someone who owns and uses this headset on a daily basis, I wholeheartedly agree. The PS5 model is also compatible with PC, but unfortunately not the Xbox.
SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Gaming Headset for $281.99
The Arctis Nova Pro is the highest-end gaming headset in Steelseries’ repertoire. It combines excellent sound quality with comfortable ergonomics, a high-performance mic, and unique yet extremely practical features. One of the biggest standout features of the SteelSeries Nova Pro wireless headset is the ingenious hot-swappable battery system. SteelSeries was generous enough to includes two batteries; one that’s in use in your headset and the other that’s charging in the separate DAC controller. This way you’ll get the best of both worlds: glorious wireless freedom and no waiting to recharge.
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro is also one of few wireless gaming headsets with built-in active noise cancellation. It doesn’t cancel out noise as well as dedicated noise-cancelling headphones, but it’s still capable enough to isolate distractions to your gaming sessions like the noises coming from your PC when it’s running at 100% with all fans at full tilt.
Some other welcome features include adjustable telescoping arms (in addition to the elastic headband) and leatherette ear cushions for a better customized fit. The earcups are smaller in size so that they can easily create a seal around your ears for better noise isolation and thus better audio quality. In terms of wireless connectivity, the Nova Pro connects to both 2.4GHz WiFi as well as Bluetooth. In fact, you can utilize both connections simultaneously, for example to your PC and to your phone.
You can read our IGN SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro review to read more about why we think this is the best gaming headset you can buy. Keep in mind we wrote this review with the mindset that this is priced at $350. It’s a way better proposition now that it’s 20% off.
