Argonaut Games, the legendary developer who helped Nintendo make the original Star Fox, is back with a remaster of Croc.

The British studio, most famous for working with Nintendo on its groundbreaking SNES Super FX tech and Star Fox back in the 90s, has announced Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, due out on current consoles and PC later in 2024.

Check out the debut trailer below:

Crock is a 1997 3D platformer for the PSone and Sega Saturn that enjoyed success on those consoles. The remaster includes all the features you’d expect, such as improved visuals, modernized controls, and a digital museum packed with development assets dubbed the Crocipedia.

Argonaut laid off its staff in 2004, with some former employees going on to join Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady. It went bust in 2007. With this relaunch, the studio has returned to the limelight after a near 20-year hiatus.
