Not only is it a new month for LEGO fans, it’s a whole new year. The block-building company has a ton of new sets for January 2025, including new entries in typical categories like Star Wars LEGO sets and Harry Potter LEGO sets, and a lot more than that. Let’s dive in and see what’s new this month for LEGO fans.
LEGO Grogu and Hover Pram Is Now Available
My favorite new set for January 2025 is the long-named LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Grogu with Hover Pram. On a price-per-piece basis, it’s actually super reasonable for a licensed Disney/Star Wars set at $99.99. It’s also super adorable, which you can’t really put a price on, now can you? Check out our We Build LEGO Grogu for details on the build.

LEGO Minifigures Series 27 Are Now Available
6-Pack – $29.94Individual – $4.99
A new batch of LEGO minifigures is now available to purchase in their usual blind box format. This latest collection includes a total of 12 new minifigures that run the gamut in terms of theme and character. There’s a Steampunk Inventor, a Pterodactyl Costume Fan, a Jetpack Racer, and a Bogeyman, plus a lot more.
LEGO Botanicals Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet Is Available
LEGO flower sets are always popular, and this one has the potential to be among the most popular. It’s the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet, and it’s available in time for you to buy it for your significant other for Valentine’s Day, which will be here before you know it. Plus, you (or your plus one) don’t have to water it.
New LEGO Harry Potter Sets
Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops – $199.99Malfoy Manor – $149.99Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons – $79.99Hagrid & Harry’s Motorcycle Ride – $49.99Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club – $24.99Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class – $19.99
I just completed a Harry Potter full series re-watch with my son and it remains a phenomenal story, surely one of the best cinematic sagas of the millennium. Six new LEGO Harry Potter sets are now available, including the micro-sized (yet wonderfully detailed) depiction of the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops.
New LEGO Animal Crossing Sets
Able Sisters Clothing Shop – $39.99Leif’s Caravan & Garden Shop – $29.99Stargazing with Celeste – $9.99
The LEGO/Nintendo partnership continues apace with a new batch of Animal Crossing sets. These are all modestly priced, which is good for the pocketbook of anyone who enjoys the chill vibes of New Horizons and other games in the series.
LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr Is Available at Amazon
One of two major newer Lord of the Rings sets, Barad-dûr is Sauron’s stronghold, and this set is appropriately menacing. It’s a huge build that’s fun to put together and is filled with Easter eggs from the movies and books. See our We Build LEGO Lord of the Rings Barad-dur feature for more details before dropping nearly $500 on the set.
New LEGO DC Sets
Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker – $59.99Batman & Batmobile vs. Mr. Freeze – $19.99Superman Mech vs. Lex Luthor – $14.99
A trio of new LEGO DC sets are now available, including LEGO Batman sets, plus Superman fighting most infamous enemy. I like the Batman Tumblers vs. Two-Face and Joker, but the others are pretty neat, too.
LEGO Brickheadz Tom & Jerry Is Available
I don’t have a whole lot to say about this one other than I love it. I’m not even particularly a fan of Tom & Jerry, but they look great in the Brickheadz format. Plus, it’s only $15.
New LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Sets
Medieval Dragon – $59.99Wild Animals Panda Family – $39.99Typewriter with Flowers – $29.99Space Robot – $24.99Playful Cat – $24.99
The 3-in-1 sets are some of my favorites, because they give you a great bang for your buck. Instead of putting a set together once, these can be disassembled and pieced together in two other configurations.
