With the Time Variance Authority back in the spotlight thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine, it should come as no surprise that Marvel is looking to give the agency a boost on the comic book side of things. At San Diego Comic-Con today, Marvel revealed a new TVA comic that includes multiverse heroes like Spider-Gwen and Captain Carter.
First revealed at the "Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski" panel, the new series is written by Katharyn Blair (who previously wrote for the Loki series that first introduced the TVA to the MCU) and drawn by Pere Perez (Black Cat), with cover art by Pepe Larraz (House of X).
Based on the cover art above, it appears the series will feature several mainstay characters of the Loki series, including Mr. Mobius, Ouroborous, Hunter B-15 and Loki's variant Sylvie, along with a Gambit variant for good measure.
During the panel, Cebulski noted a desire to give Miss Minutes a family. As such, the new series will also introduce Sir Seconds and Doc Clock. Cebulski showed off the following character designs at the panel:
TVA #1 will be released in December 2024.
Also at Comic-Con, we learned DC is finally bringing back the Justice League, while Marvel teased the end of the High Republic saga in Fear of the Jedi.
