Every year, Google announces its new line of Pixel phones in August, and this year, we’re expecting to see the Pixel 11 at the show. We already know that it is the Pixel 11 debuting, as Google’s webpage is already teasing preorders going up later today. However, It’s never quite as simple as one phone.
Instead, we’re likely going to see a whole lineup of different phones, with updates to the standard slab-style Pixels, along with the Pixel 11 Fold, which will go right up against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Razr Fold, both of which have come out in the last couple of months. The real trial here, then, is going to be the price of the phone. After all, it seems like everything is getting more expensive these days, and, well phones do have RAM in them.

How to Watch Made By Google 2026
If you want to watch Made By Google yourself, you can do so on the Made For Google YouTube channel. The stream will go live at 6pm EST / 3PM PST. It should be about an hour long, and it’s going to be absolutely packed. Google teased the event last week, including appearances from actress Ayami Nakajo and athlete Stephen Curry. Plus, the whole thing will be hosted by Trevor Noah, which should be a step up from the typical stuffy tech executive that usually presents this kind of thing.
What to Expect
Just like with every iteration of this event, Google is going to be revealing its next generation of phones. Obviously, we can expect the Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Fold, but Google will also be showing off at least one smart watch.
But no matter what hardware Google has to offer, it’s likely that Gemini is going to be a constant topic throughout the presentation. Whether you’re into AI or not, pretty much every smartphone maker has made AI a central feature. The Pixel 11 will be no different, and I expect at least one or two new AI features to make it to the phone.
As far as new hardware features, there are rumors that the Pixel 11 lineup will have something called HiLight, according to 9to5Google. I won’t know exactly what this is until Google actually shows it off, but the rumors point to a light on the back of the phone that’ll turn on when you’re chatting with Gemini or when your favorite contacts call you. Doesn’t seem super useful to me off the jump, but hey, maybe it’ll turn out to be great.

11:15 am: The event starts in about seven hours, and it does seem like Google will be packing the thing with a ton of hardware. But it seems like Google has already made the Pixel 11 lineup available for preorder. Right now you can order the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel 11 on Google’s website for $1,099, $1,899 and $899 respectively. Depending on how well Google’s new Tensor G6 chip performs, the new foldable could give Samsung and Motorola’s recent foldables a run for their money.
