LEGO Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night Is on Sale for 20% Off

LEGO Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night, inspired by van Gogh’s Post-Impressionist masterpiece, is currently on sale. Normally, you would pay $180, but it is currently available for $136 – a 20% discount off its retail price on Amazon.

I loved building this set, and I highly recommend it. It comes with a buildable black frame and a minifigure of a bearded, red-haired Vincent van Gogh, along with an easel and paint brush accessory. The model of the painting itself does an excellent job of capturing van Gogh’s thick, swirling brush strokes. The scenery details, such as the buildings and trees along the bottom, jut out from the painting in three-dimensional relief.

LEGO Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night originally came out in 2022. It was a LEGO Ideas set designed by Truman Cheung, a Hong Kong-based LEGO fan, and the fan community voted on his concept. LEGO then refined the design in partnership with the Museum of Modern Art in NY.

The original painting, completed in 1889, was inspired by van Gogh’s window view at the Monastery of Saint-Paul de Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy, France, where he spent many months near the end of his life.
