Marvel has posted a brief Avengers: Doomsday teaser that features Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm, in what sounds like a race against time.
The short video doesn't feature new footage from Doomsday, but we do hear Pascal and Kirby in new dialogue from the film, which abruptly interrupts a clip from last year's The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Posted today on social media, the teaser arrives ahead of this coming weekend's big Marvel showcase at San Diego Comic-Con, which is expected to center heavily on Avengers: Doomsday, and reveal much more about the movie.
The clip begins with the scene from The Fantastic Four: First Steps where Richards is conducting a tour of the Baxter Building, noting that his family still schedules dinner together every Sunday at 7pm. The teaser then abruptly cuts to black, and Kirby's voice can then be heard in new dialogue.

"How long do we have?" says Storm.
"Not long," replies Richards. It's safe to say that dinner won't be going ahead as planned.
What do we think is going on here? Well, the most obvious suggestion would be that this is tied to First Steps' post-credit scene, which saw toddler Franklin Richards in the clutches of Doctor Doom. We next see the family racing into the main MCU reality in the post-credit scene of Thunderbolts*/The New Avengers.
But perhaps this could also be something to do with the multiverse collapsing, as realities crash into each other via Incursions? Is the Fantastic Four witnessing their own reality colliding with another? Or another reality colliding with them?
Exactly what's going on here remains to be seen, though fans are now hoping for more of these teasers during the week. Perhaps we'll get a similar one for The New Avengers, with dialogue from Yelena or Bucky taken from Doomsday to set up their appearance there?
Although we've gotten a few teaser trailers for Avengers: Doomsday, the full trailer has only been seen by CinemaCon attendees up to this point. Stand by for much more this weekend from Comic-Con, where IGN will be reporting from the show.
Last week, it was revealed that Avengers: Doomsday has a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes, and that tickets for the film are expected to go live this week. For more on Doomsday's story in the meantime, you may want to read up on the leaked footage that has begun circulating online — or try and stay unspoiled until the movie arrives in theaters on December 18. In the meantime, Tom Holland has been doing his best to avoid revealing spoilers for upcoming MCU projects, while former Jean Grey actress Famke Janssen has plenty to say about being left out of the new Avengers movies.
