It’s an exciting time to be a Wizarding World fan, because Amazon in the UK has opened preorders for the Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Steelbook Collection, giving collectors another way to own all eight films, releasing on 5 October 2026.
There are also listings in Canada at Amazon and Gruv, but for now, there are no signs of this being available in the US.
This limited-edition 4K UHD Blu-Ray box set, priced at £250 at Amazon UK, is one of the most presentable ways to own all of the Harry Potter movies yet, with each getting its own individually illustrated Steelbook to properly celebrate the film franchise being around for a quarter of a century.
However, unlike previous collections — like 2018’s Dark Arts Collection — all eight are bundled into a library-style case, and then housed inside a larger trunk-style case designed to resemble this collection being ready to be shipped after Hogwarts itself.
As laid out by Collector’s Editions, there are 16 discs altogether. Every film itself is presented on 4K Ultra HD, whilst a separate Blu-ray disc is included for its bonus features.
That covers the complete Creating the World of Harry Potter documentary series, deleted scenes, trailers, screen tests, retrospective pieces, and dozens of behind-the-scenes featurettes spread across the films.
A ninth Steelbook is included purely for the standard Blu-Ray with physical extras. Inside, additional exclusive extras you’ll get include a certificate of authenticity, a reproduction of the Marauder’s Map, a map of Diagon Alley, eight Wizarding World travel posters, and sticker sheets.
On the other hand, you should be aware that, as far as information we’ve seen from retailers go, these are not new 4K transfers, come with any extended versions, Dolby Vision upgrades, or fresh film-specific bonus material.
If you already physically own the Harry Potter films in 4K, keep in mind that all you’ll be buying that’s new is the uniquely designed steelbooks, special casing, and included extras.
For anyone who has held off on earlier Harry Potter collections, though, this is the most lavish all-in-one version you can get. Along with Amazon selling and dispatching the set directly, returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt — which is always handy for peace of mind if there are any issues.
