Zymartu Games has announced Fields of Aaru, an ancient-Egyptian-inspired, afterlife-set cozy life sim where you'll manage life along the Nile, interact with Egyptian gods, mold the land to your preferences, farm and fish, help the people in town, and more. It's in development for PC and due out by the end of 2026.
Fields of Aaru promises the ability to fire clay, shape stone, dig canals, uncover shrines, gain gameplay-boosting favor from various gods, and "venture into the desert to uncover ancient ruins, tombs, and hidden secrets."
You'll also take on quests to help the townspeople, plant crops in fertile soil, and even travel to distant regions.
