DualSense Controllers Get $30 Price Cut in PlayStation Days of Play Sale

PlayStation fans looking to save a little extra on PS5 items have plenty of deals to look through in this year’s Days of Play sale.

DualSense controllers, in particular, have seen some pretty nice price drops as part of the event, with some models even receiving discounts of up to $30 off.

Alongside standard controllers dropping as low as $54 – similar to the price point we saw them hit during Black Friday last year – we’ve also found quite a few special editions that range from $59 to $64. This all depends on the design or color you’re looking for, of course, but they’re certainly worth checking out while they’re still on sale.

Even some newer models have been discounted, like the limited-edition Marathon controller. This was released back in March and is currently marked down by $20 from its original list price.

The Hyperpop Collection of controllers were another bunch that released in March and is also currently on sale, with the Rhythm Blue, Techno Red, and Remix Green colors all $20 off.

If you want to pick up PlayStation’s more premium DualSense Edge, the good news is this is also on sale right now as part of Days of Play. At the moment, both the black and white controllers are $30 off their usual list price, marked down to $169.

While it’s not the lowest price we’ve seen for this controller – that’d be $159.99 during Black Friday last year – this is still mighty close. At just $10 difference, it’s still well worth picking up at this price, and in general we think it’s worth having.

Writer Matthew Adler said in his review that the, “DualSense Edge controller puts its customization front and center with its slick software and intuitive Function buttons, finally giving PlayStation owners an answer to the venerated Xbox Elite.”

There’s so much more to check out during Days of Play, though. Looking for some new games? Have a look at some of the great PS5 games that have been discounted during PlayStation’s big sale.
