If you’re lucky enough to own a gaming PC in this time of crazy AI price hikes, you’ll know how important having the right hardware for the job can be. That’s not just your GPU, CPU, or monitor, though: It extends to the devices you interact with moment to moment.
One of those is a keyboard, and a mechanical one can not only help with gaming in mind thanks to rapid polling rates and more, but also sound so darn good it tickles the brain just right. As someone who owns more keyboards than I’d care to admit (don’t tell my wife), here’s why I’m considering a Corsair option next.
Save Big On Corsair Mechanical Keyboards
Over at Amazon UK, there is a series of discounts on Corsair’s mechanical keyboards, highlighted by 50% off the ever-popular K70 PRO TKL.
This wired option is packed with handy features and nice-to-haves, as well as being a very reliable keyboard in its own right.
For starters, the wired nature means no connectivity issues, and no battery drain right when you’re about to kick off a teamfight (we’ve been there).
On top of that, there’s a 1mm actuation distance for incredible responsiveness, and double-shot keycaps so you won’t lose letters and icons over time, plus some nice RGB options so it can match your PC rig.
When it comes to performance, the K70 PRO TKL is part of Corsair’s Champion Series, so it’s tested by top esports pros. That’s helped shape the specs, with 8,000Hz hyper-polling and 4,000Hz key scanning, as well as convenient features like a volume wheel and media controls.
All of this is now just £79.99 right now, reduced from £159.99.
If you’re looking for a full-sized keyboard, you’re in luck. The Corsair K100 offers many of the benefits the K70 TKL offers, only with a full number pad, leatherette palm rest, and an awesome iCUE control wheel to essentially act as a macro option in the moment.
There’s even an additional column of customizable keys on the left-hand side for more control options in your favorite games. It’s a perfect MMO companion, letting you map dozens of actions to the huge number of keys, but it’s also ideal for switching between apps, skipping tracks, and much more.
All of that functionality would come at a price of £249.99, but Amazon UK’s current discount brings it down to £179.99 – a 28% discount.
Finally, Corsair’s VANGUARD PRO 96 is a great-looking keyboard that squeezes as much as possible into its relatively small chassis. It uses the manufacturer’s own MGX Hyperdrive Hall Effect switches, which are reliable and sound great (yes, it matters), and there’s an LCD screen for use with the control dial.
There’s Corsair’s Rapid Trigger technology under the hood, too, meaning the switches don’t need to fully reset before being ready for another activation, plus those handy G-keys tucked into the left-hand side.
Amazon’s discounts bring the price down by 24%, meaning it’s now £159.98 instead of £209.99.
