Unfortunately for those who’ve been listing the A Nightmare on Elm Street 4K steelbook collection for 10x its original price on eBay, Amazon just brought back the full set at MSRP.
This set of seven 4K steelbooks was originally released as an Amazon exclusive in late 2025. For one reason or another, Warner Bros. limited the release to 15,000 copies. The new listing, which is priced at $159.99, seems virtually identical to the original except it’s missing the original Certificate of Authenticity and 3D glasses. You can evaluate how much those things mean to you.
The reprinted collection is now available as a preorder, which means you’ll have to wait until September 15 to actually get your hands on the set. On the plus side, that means you’ll get the potential benefits of Amazon’s Preorder Price Guarantee.
The full library collection includes exactly seven steelbooks dedicated to each movie in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Each steelbook has its own unique finish based on the original theatrical artwork, but all seven share similar black backgrounds to give the set a unified look. The steelbooks also come encased in a box with Freddy Krueger’s iconic black and red stripes.

The original release of this set was actually the first time that any movies in the franchise other than the original had received the 4K UHD treatment. On that note, keep in mind that you’ll need a proper 4K set-up to actually play any of these discs.
While any physical media purchase is worthwhile for the disc quality, these movies also happen to be pretty much off the streaming grid. If you’re a fan of the Freddy Krueger franchise or know someone who is, it truly doesn’t get better than this.
In terms of what’s next for the franchise, we just got news that Paramount is developing a reboot, having signed a deal with Wes Craven’s estate to acquire the U.S. rights to the film. This will be the first time Freddy Krueger makes an appearance since Samuel Bayer’s reboot 16 years ago. Unless, of course, you count the killer’s appearance in Dead by Daylight.
