Disney has been slowly remastering its animated classics in 4K and it seems the latest film to get that treatment is Alice in Wonderland. It’s been a while since the standard Blu-ray version of the movie was released and this remaster marks the first time it’s ever been available in 4K UHD. The new edition is up for preorder now with a release date of May 5, 2026 to celebrate the movie’s 75th anniversary.
Alice in Wonderland 4K Blu-ray Preorders
The Alice in Wonderland 4K UHD edition is available for $45.99 right now at Amazon and Walmart. That price may seem high, but it will likely come down a bit before the actual release date. These types of preorders tend to start high to discourage scalpers and drop down lower closer to the actual release date. Because of this both Amazon and Walmart have preorder price guarantees that ensure you only pay the lowest price even if you get your preorder in early.
Blu-ray Bonus Features and Details
The 4K edition includes a variety of bonus features for the film’s 75th anniversary. Here are all of the details, according to the Blu-ray.com page:

More Classic Disney Movies in 4K
There are quite a few other animated Disney movies in 4K in 2026, but not every classic film has been remastered in high definition just yet. The films that have gotten 4K releases are either because of a new live-action version hitting theaters or a major anniversary. The Emperor’s New Groove, for example, had a 25th anniversary release just last year while Lilo & Stitch got live-action remake.
