Since its launch in the summer of 2020, Peacock has expanded its catalog of exclusive shows and movies (Monkey Man, Kung Fu Panda 4, A Most Beautiful Thing) to compete with the big names in streaming these days. With their exclusive access to all things owned by NBC, Peacock is starting to gain some traction in the streaming wars. This is especially true now that it’s currently the only place you can stream the 2024 Summer Olympics.
As streaming has evolved and changed throughout the years, streaming services have also changed in layout, content rights, and pricing. Despite the increase in competition, Peacock does not offer any sort of free trial.
Can You Get Peacock for Free in Other Ways?
While there is no clear trial version of Peacock, users can access Peacock through a couple of other methods.
Instacart Plus
Users who subscribe to the $10 monthly Instacart Plus service can now add Peacock Premium to the bundle for free.
Xfinity Now TV
Comcast internet-only subscribers who have plans at the 75 Mbps tier or above can add the Xfinity NOW TV service at any time, which will then grant access to a free Peacock Premium plan.
Editor’s note: if you are a user who subscribed to the free Peacock plan before the cut-off date in February 2023, there is still select content you can access without a paid subscription.
