Get a 1TB Samsung Evo Micro SDXC Card (Nintendo Switch Compatible) for $69.99

Looking to upgrade the storage capacity of your Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, or ASUS ROG Ally? Here’s a great deal on a very well-rated Samsung memory card. Amazon is offering a 1TB Samsung Evo Select SDXC card for $69.99. An SD card adapter is also included. Samsung is one of the most highly recommended memory card brands and the Evo Select model is faster than most Micro SDXC cards, especially since this is the newer version with up to 160MB/s read speeds (vs 130MB/s). It’s compatible with most gaming handhelds including the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and ROG Ally.

1TB Samsung Evo Select Micro SDXC Card

Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck compatible

If you’ve started compiling a collection of digital games, you probably already know just how limited the Switch’s base storage capacity is. The Switch and Switch OLED have 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, respectively, some of it reserved for the OS. Some games require a huge portion of that space. Examples include Tears of the Kingdom which takes up 16GB of space, Monster Hunter Rise 20GB, Breath of the Wild 13.5GB, and Persona 5 Royal 14GB. There’s only one memory card expansion slot in the Switch so you’ll want to make sure you get the biggest card you can afford, although most people won’t need more than 1TB of additional storage.

The Samsung Evo Select is compatible with virtually any device that accepts the Micro SDXC card standard, including the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and the ASUS ROG Ally. The Evo Select is a faster than average Micro SDXC card with a speed rating of U3 / A2 / V30. In terms of actual numbers, it boasts up to 160MBps sustained read speeds. Besides pairing well with your gaming handheld, this card would be an ideal candidate for devices that need fast and high-capacity transfers, like a smartphone, 4K DSLR or action camera.

Cheaper Alternative: TeamGroup 1TB Micro SDXC Card

If you’re more flexible on brand, Amazon also has the TeamGroup Pro Plus 1TB Micro SDXC card for $57.99. That’s actually less than the price we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday (it was $60 back then). This is a similarly rated U3 A2 card with transfer speeds up to 160MB/s read and 110MB/s write. TeamGroup isn’t as well known or universal of a brand as Samsung, but they’ve been in the flash memory market for quite a while and have made a name for themselves as a reputable purveyor of affordable yet performance-minded RAM, flash drives, and SSDs.
