Walmart’s Early Prime Day Sale Ends Tonight: Here Are the Best Deals That Will Expire

The Walmart July Sales Event ends at midnight tonight and we’re not sure whether or not these deals will resurface again on Amazon Prime Day. Several of these deals are Walmart exclusive, meaning it is unlikely they’ll be matched by Amazon. Walmart offers free shipping on most orders over $35, but Walmart+ members can get that threshold removed. If you don’t have a Walmart+ membership, it’s currently 50% off.

Nintendo Switch Lite with Animal Crossing for $159

The Switch Lite normally retails for $199 without any game included, which is still $100 less than the original Switch and $150 less than the Switch OLED. It is compatible with most Nintendo Switch games and it runs off the same hardware, so performance is identical. The three main tradeoffs of the Switch Lite is that (1) the controllers are not detachable, (2) the console can’t be docked and played on a TV and (3) the display is smaller (5.5″ vs 6.2″ on Switch and 7″ on Switch OLED). If you were intending to use the Switch solely as a handheld console, you might be better off just getting the Switch Lite. Even though the controls aren’t detachable, the Switch Lite does support wireless Bluetooth, so you can always purchase another pair of Joy-Cons, a Switch Pro controller, or a compatible third party wireless Switch controller.

iBUYPOWER TraceMesh RTX 4060 Gaming PC for $699

Save $300 off the iBUYPOWER TraceMesh RTX 4060 gaming PC, now only $699. This is our best budget gaming PC of 2024. The full specs include an AMD Ryzen 7 5700 CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe NVME SSD. The RTX 4060 is going to be the best current-gen GPU you’ll find capable of smooth 1080p gaming in a system that costs under $1,000.

75″ TCL Q6 4K QLED Smart TV for $498, 65″ for $398

The TCL Q6 TV offers great HDR picture quality at a very affordable price point. That’s largely in part because it’s equipped with a quantum dot LED (QLED) panel with full array backlighting and local dimming. The TCL Q6 is also a very bright TV (brighter than any OLED TV) so it’s a perfect candidate for rooms with lots of windows and/or poor light control. Although the Q6 has a native 60Hz refresh rate and no HDMI 2.1 ports, it’s still a solid budget gaming TV. The Q6 has very low input lag and supports variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons + Super Mario Party for $69

This bundle normally retails for $99 and includes a pair of Nintendo Joy-Con controllers and a digital copy of the Super Mario Party game. The Nintendo Joy-Con controllers are functionally identical to the ones that came with your Switch console. A nice bonus is that the Joy-Cons are decked out in Mario Red and Mario Blue, which you can only get with this bundle.

Apple AirPods Max Headphones for $398

The AirPods Max is the crown jewel of Apple’s AirPods lineup, but that quality doesn’t come cheap. It’s normally priced at $550, but today Walmart has dropped the price down to $398. At its retail price, the AirPods Max has always been a splurge buy because although it’s a very nice headphone, it’s so much more expensive than other headphones that offer similar performance. This Amazon Prime Day deal prices it in roughly the same range as its competition, and then it becomes an easier purchase, especially if you’re an iOS user. Audio quality and noise cancelling performance are on par with other premium headphones from Sony and Bose, but the AirPods Max boasts much better build quality and higher end materials.

512GB SanDisk Ultra Micro SDXC Card for $24.99

Looking to upgrade the storage capacity of your Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, or ASUS ROG Ally? Well right now Walmart is offering a SanDisk Ultra 512GB Micro SDXC Card for only $24.99. Walmart+ members get free shipping, otherwise you need to get your order total to $35. Currently this is the least expensive 512GB Micro SDXC card we’ve seen from a legit brand. SanDisk is owned by Western Digital and is the most popular memory card brand for the Nintendo Switch console.

Super Mario Maker 2 for $29.99

Super Mario Maker 2 is a side scrolling platformer that many people prefer over New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe because of its incredible powerful level building tool. The fact that you can download other people’s creations means that there’s endless replayability. It’s normally $60, but Walmart is the only vendor right now offering it at a 50% discount.

50% Off 1 Year Walmart+ Membership

This deal actually runs a bit longer, until July 18. Walmart just pushed out one of its most popular deals of 2024. Right now you can sign up for one year of the Walmart+ membership for only $49, or 50% off its normal $98 price. This is part of Walmart’s larger sale that competes with Amazon Prime Day. Similar to Amazon Prime, Walmart+ give you a whole host of benefits that extends beyond free expedited shipping, including streaming access to Paramount+ as well as extended trials to YouTube Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Apple Music, and more.

Now that the Walmart sale is soon over, it’s time to starting preparing for Amazon Prime Day. Read up on our predictions as well as tips on how to save the most money out of this sale. If you don’t have a Prime membership, you may be able to get a free trial that lasts through Prime Day.
