Now that October Prime Day is live at Amazon, all of the competing sales are starting to ramp up. Walmart was one of the first retailers to announce a fall sale alongside Amazon and has even gone so far as to extend those deals all the way through Sunday, October 13.
Walmart’s sale is a great way to find discounts if you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, though many of these deals won’t start until tomorrow for non-Walmart+ members. If you do have a Walmart+ membership, you can gain early access to the sale right now and take advantage of some great deals. To help you parse through all of the discounts available, we’ve narrowed it down to just the five best discounts that aren’t currently available at Amazon but are live at Walmart today.
The Best Walmart Deals Today
PS5 Slim Digital Edition
Some of the best gaming deals for October Prime Day so far have been on PS5 consoles. With another round of PS5 Pro preorders coming shortly after Prime Day ends, retailers have been reducing the price of the PS5 Slim ahead of Black Friday. Amazon has already sold out of the cheaper PS5 Slim Digital Console, but you can still pick one up at Walmart.

LEGO Technic Porsche 911 RSR Race Car
Although Amazon has some really good Prime Day LEGO deals today, this Porsche building kit from Walmart is one of the best discounts we’ve seen so far. LEGO’s line of Technic sets are more complex than some of the best sets for kids and, thus, tend to be a bit more expensive. This particular Technic model kit includes doors that open, a working steering wheel, and sticker details to make it more authentic.
The LEGO Technic Porsche is currently down to $110 after a $65 discount. Amazon currently has the same set for $50 more, making this an excellent Walmart-exclusive deal.
Govee Permanent Outdoor Smart Lights
With Halloween coming up later this month and Christmas not long after that, you may be looking for a home lighting option that is a little more permanent. These Govee smart outdoor lights only need to be hung up once and then you can customize them to whatever theme you want. You can change them to a spooky orange and purple for Halloween and then shift to cheerier Christmas colors in December.
Walmart currently has the lowest price on the 50ft set at $98, which is a $62 discount. You will still need to install them, but then after that all you need is the Govee home app.
GTRacing Gaming Chair
Gaming chairs are much like office chairs in that they can be a very expensive purchase. It can be hard to find a decent budget gaming chair for under $300 that offers all of the support you need, but it is possible. The GTRacing brand is known for its more affordable racing-style gaming chairs, and sales like these are the best time to get them for way less than you normally would. This chair was designed with ergonomics in mind and includes both lumbar support and a headrest.
Although Amazon currently has discounts on GTRacing gaming chairs, Walmart currently has the lowest possible price. At just $99, this is likely the lowest price on a gaming chair you’ll find today.
Dyson V7 Advanced Cordless Vacuum
Dyson is one of the best vacuum brands on the market, and that of course means they are also some of the most expensive. Modern cordless vacuums are especially pricey without a good discount, so this sale on the Dyson V7 is worth pointing out. It’s lightweight and can be quickly converted to a handheld option for cleaning out your car or hard-to-reach places.
Walmart is currently offering this vacuum for $259.99 after a $140 discount. On Amazon, it is still set at full price.
What Else Is Included in the Walmart Sale?
Although I picked what I believe to be the best overall deals from the sale, Walmart has a lot of different discounts going on right now. Some of the best outside of the ones I featured here are on kitchen items, laptops, and kids’ electronics. You can also save up 20% on a set of new tires or get discounts on batteries. If you’re planning on doing some general grocery shopping, Walmart’s deals make it worth checking out. There are many similarities between this sale and the Target Circle Week sale, just with different brands.
Can You Shop the Sale at Walmart Store Locations?
Walmart’s fall sale is currently available both in stores and online for Walmart+ members. If you don’t currently have a Walmart+ membership, you will need to wait until midnight tonight to access the sale online or at physical Walmart locations.
Should You Wait for Walmart’s Black Friday Sale to Buy?
It’s worth noting as browse this sale that although these deals are pretty good, October Prime Day still isn’t as big as Black Friday. This is especially true at Walmart, which is especially known for huge discounts on big ticket items like TVs and gaming consoles. That being said, there are still quite a few really good deals available in this sale, some of which we’ve featured above. If you aren’t looking to make any really big purchases, right now is a great time to find savings on everyday items.
