Amazon’s Big Spring Sale may officially be over, but we’re still seeing many of the awesome discounts carry over into today. From PS5 games to 4K UHD Blu-rays, there are still plenty of deals to be had. It’s also your last chance to grab the PS5 and PS Portal before the price hike tomorrow. While we were hoping this was an April Fool’s prank, it doesn’t appear to be. Luckily, all the deals I’ve found below are no joke.
TL; DR – The Best Deals for April 1
$150 Off Apple AirPods Max
The Apple AirPods Max 2 came out today. However, if you don’t care about the slight performance upgrades, you can score its predecessor for $150 less. The Amazon-owned Woot is selling every color of the USB-C version of the AirPods Max that launched in fall 2024 for just $399.99, matching Black Friday’s all-time low. Prime members can also enjoy free shipping.
These high-end headphones offer everything you could want, starting with an unbelievable sound performance from Apple’s custom drivers. Top-tier active noise canceling and a Transparency Mode are baked in, while Apple’s H1 chip makes connecting to Apple devices seamless and supports Spatial Audio for a personalized listening experience. The USB-C connector also enables 24-bit/48kHz lossless wired audio on top of an already comfortable, yet durable design.

An upgraded, more responsive D-pad, a new Share button, and additional grips, along with Xbox Wireless support and Bluetooth connectivity, make it one solid, budget-friendly controller.
Get the PS5 and PS Portal Before the Price Hike
Bad news! If you haven’t heard yet, the PlayStation 5 consoles and PS Portal are getting a price hike starting tomorrow. Sony confirmed the news in a blog post, citing the “global economic landscape” as the reasoning behind the decision. Both the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition will see a $100 increase, and the PS5 Pro is going up an eye-watering $150. As for the PS Portal, it’s seeing a 25% rise in cost, bringing the price to $249.99. Unfortunately, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke, so while none of these devices are technically a deal today, they likely will be tomorrow. It looks like the PS5 console is sold out almost everywhere, but you can still grab the PS5 Pro and PS Portal from select retailers.
