It’s pretty amazing that you can score an electric standing desk for $100 when just a few years ago the least expensive option would cost upwards of $400 or more (and many desks still cost that much).

The Marsail desk seems to tick all the right boxes. The base is a familiar stable 2-legged design with a horizontal crossbar brace to eliminate sag. The single motor accepts loads up to 176 pounds and has an anti-collision feature so the motor won’t burn itself out if you accidentally lower or raise it into an obstruction. It’s a pretty quiet motor with a noise rating of under 50db. Height range is from 28.3” to 48”. It also comes with a control panel with four memory presets, which you’ll usually only find on pricier desks. In addition, you get a storage bag with several slots, an under-desk headphone hook, and a pair of desktop grommets.
The top is a 48″x24″ splice board. Splice boards are desktops that are split into two pieces to save on shipping costs. It also means your desktop surface will have a seam down the middle of it.
