We’re in the second and final day of Amazon’s October Prime Day 2025 sale. That means time is ticking before the window closes to save cash on an enormous variety of board games. Mega-popular games like Pandemic and Ticket to Ride are on sale, as are many lesser-known gems. You can view the whole board game sale here, or keep scrolling because I’ve picked out some of the best board game deals below.
Best Board Game Deals
Here’s a long list of picks that are worth looking into for any board game fan. Click through for more info on each one, or read on below for details on some of the board game highlights of October Prime Day.
Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City
This tabletop game brings you back to Night City, the setting of Cyberpunk 2077. It’s a bleak place, with cybernetic upgrades and lots of crime. Your job is to hit the streets with your particular gang, in order to amass as much territory as you can. Some violence may be in order. Check out our review for full details on this one.
Heat: Pedal to the Metal
One of the lesser-known gems is Heat: Pedal to the Metal. While you might not think a board game could match the excitement of a car race, it actually does a pretty good job. You can spec out your car to your liking, and then speed into races where you have to make your car go as fast as it can without overheating. You can play this one with friends, or as a solo board game. Check out our review for more info.
Azul
Some board games are about war. Others enmesh you in murder mysteries. Azul has you lay tiles to make beautiful mosaics. And while this might not sound thrilling on its face, it’s actually super fun. It’s also a good game for families to play, because it’s not too complicated, and everyone tends to have a good old time.
The Lord of The Rings: Duel for Middle-Earth
There are plenty of games based on The Lord of the Rings, but this is a top-tier entry. Modeled after 7 Wonders Duel, it’s basically a card game that has you and one other player duking it out as the Fellowship versus the forces of Sauron. Check out our review for details.
Pandemic
Lots of board games are based on competitions to see which player can come out victorious. I tend to prefer cooperative board games. Pandemic is a co-op game that puts you and the other players in the shoes of scientists fighting a global pandemic. Everyone has a unique ability to help stop the spread, and you have to work together to save lives.
Arkham Horror (Third Edition)
And now for something a little darker, which is perfect with Halloween coming up. Arkham Horror has you and a team of investigators venture out into a city that’s being overrun by Lovecraftian monsters. Your job is to stop them before they become an overwhelming force, or before you go mad.
