Xbox and PC gamers don’t need to wait until Black Friday to score a great deal on a quality controller. Right now, Lenovo is offering the official Xbox wireless controller for the Xbox Series S|X and PC in your choice of three color options for only $39.99 shipped after you apply coupon code “FALLXBOX“. Those color options are Carbon Black, Pulse Red, and Shock Blue.
Although at this point we’d generally recommend waiting for Black Friday to buy something, this one is a safe bet. It’s unlikely these controllers will drop in price any lower, and if they do, it won’t be by an amount that will make you regret your purchase if you buy it right now.
Xbox Wireless Controller for $39.99
This Xbox Core wireless controller is identical to the one that’s bundled with the Xbox Series X and S consoles right down to the Carbon Black color. Features include textured grips, hybrid D-pad, button mapping with the Xbox app, a 3.5mm audio jack that works with any wired headset, and a Share button to upload screenshots and video.
The Xbox Core controller also features both Xbox wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. That means you can use it for your PC or mobile device as long as it supports Bluetooth. In fact, the Xbox controller is considered one of the best PC controllers you can get, especially if you don’t want to pay more than $50. If your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth, then you can connect your controller via a USB Type-C cable or with the Xbox wireless adapter.
Xbox Cloud Gaming Bundle Sky Cipher Edition
If you’re looking for a fancier looking controller, Amazon is offering this Xbox Cloud Gaming Bundle, which includes a Sky Cipher limited edition Xbox wireless controller ($69.99), Fire TV Stick 4K Max ($59.99), and one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($19.99), all for only $79.99. That’s basically like buying the Sky Cipher controller at retail price and paying $10 more for all of the extras. This bundle will allow you to play Game Pass games without an Xbox console.
