The Simpsons is well over three decades old at this point, and for most of that time, the animated series has been dropping annual Treehouse of Horror specials. But hardcore Simpsons fans know there’s even more Halloween-y goodness to be found on the comic book front. Now Abrams ComicArts has finished reprinting those classic Treehouse of Horror comics in a series of hardcover omnibus collections.
With The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibus Vol. 3: Fiendish Fables of Devilish Delicacies in stores now, IGN can exclusively debut a preview of one of the stories featured within. And not just any story, but a classic tale written and drawn by none other than Love & Rockets co-creator Gilbert Hernandez. Check it out in the slideshow gallery below:
The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibus Vol. 3: Fiendish Fables of Devilish Delicacies is a 416-page hardcover that comes packaged inside a die-cut, glow-in-the-dark slipcase. This book wraps up Abrams’ trilogy of hardcovers collecting every single Treehouse of Horror comic dating back to 1995.
Fittingly, the book even features an introduction from Marge Simpson herself, hearkening back to those early Treehouse of Horror episodes where Marge kicked things off with a content warning.
The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibus Vol. 3: Fiendish Fables of Devilish Delicacies is available in bookstores and comic shops now. You can order a copy on Amazon.
