Dell Black Friday Laptop Deals
Dell Inspiron Laptops
The Inspiron is Dell’s most popular and most affordable laptop. They’re mostly made of plastic, but the build quality is excellent, and there are finishing touches that make it look good like the aluminum top cover. They’re also very lightweight for budget laptops: the Inspiron 14 starts at 3.4lbs, the Inspiron 15 at 3.6lbs, and the Inspiron 16 at 4.1lbs. Right now, you can pick up a Dell Inspiron 15 Intel Core i5 laptop for as low as low as $299. Or you can upgrade to an Intel Core i7 CPU, touchscreen display, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and double the memory and storage for just $170 more.
Dell XPS Laptops
The XPS lineup consists of Dell’s best laptops in terms of build quality and compactness. Depending on which size you get, these laptops start at only 2.6lbs (lighter than a MacBook Pro 13″) and measures as little as 0.6″ thin. Unlike the Inspiron laptops, the XPS boasts a machined CNC aluminum shell with a Gorilla Glass 3 display and a glass palmrest. There are several models on sale, but one config I would recommend is this Dell XPS 13 laptop, which boasts a gorgeous 3K OLED touchscreen display for under $1,700. If you’re looking for a “budget” XPS, this Dell XPS 15 is on sale right now for only $899.99. Note that many of these laptops can be configured to your liking.
Dell Black Friday Desktop Deals
Dell Inspiron PCs
Like their laptop counterparts, the Inspiron desktop PC caters to the budget shopper who wants the best performance for the price. Few retailers can offer a complete Intel Core i5 desktop computer for $430 or an Intel Core i7 desktop computer for $650. By default, Inspirons are enclosed in a compact, space-saving mid-tower chassis, but some models feature an even smaller chassis that can practically be hidden away under a desk or behind your monitor.
Dell XPS PCs
The XPS lineup consists of Dell’s most premium desktop computers. Although Dell also owns the Alienware gaming PC brand, you can very easily equip an XPS desktop with the same specifications of a powerful Alienware PC, but for a considerably lower cost. If the Alienware is too gaudy for you, the XPS would be perfect. It has a clean and understated aesthetic with no RGB bling. It also has very good airflow design to handle video cards up to the RTX 4080 Super. Right now, you can get a Dell XPS Intel Core i7 desktop PC for $599.99, which is even lower than an Inspiron Intel Core i7 PC. If you want something that can handle gaming on the side, consider this Dell XPS configuration with an Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and an RTX 4060 Ti GPU for only $1,199.99.

Black Friday Playstation Consoles
Sony’s Black Friday PlayStation deals all went live on Friday, November 21. Dell is one of Sony’s major authorized resellers and the massive price drops I’ve seen on PS5 Slim console bundles, DualSense controllers, PS VR2 headset, and video games are all available on their site.
Will the Deals Change for Cyber Monday?
In my experience, many of the same deals we saw on Black Friday will return for Cyber Monday 2024, including deals that were sold out or expired. Retailers usually release their hottest selling items in batches so that every sale event has at least some inventory reserved. That said, I also expect plenty of new, never before seen deals. Traditionally, Black Friday was known as the “retail holiday,” where the best deals were found in-store, and Cyber Monday was known as the “online holiday,” where the best deals were online only. Although today the lines have blurred, it is still true that many online only retailers still consider Cyber Monday the sale event of the year instead of Black Friday. Expect some amazing sales to come out of online-only sites like Amazon, Newegg, Dell, HP, Lenovo and several online-only deals from traditional retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. In fact, Amazon has taken the preemptive and already switched over to Cyber Monday.
