As part of its Black Friday in July Sale, Dell is offering a Dell G15 Ryzen Edition GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming Laptop for only $809.99 after a $200 instant discount and extra 10% off coupon code "SAVE10". The G15 is Dell's line of 15" laptops that is marketed towards budget gamers. It offers solid gaming performance at a price that's usually about $300-$500 cheaper than a similar Alienware build. It's definitely one of the better budget gaming laptops you can get for under $1K.

The full specs include a 15" 1080p display, your choice of AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS is a newer AMD mobile chip with a boost clock of 5.1GHz and 8 cores and 16 threads. It's comparable to Intel Core i7 Raptor Lake CPUs and it certainly won't bottleneck your gaming performance. It's a good matchup for the RTX 4060 GPU.

The RTX 4060 sits between the RTX 3070 and the RTX 3070 Ti so it's definitely no slouch in terms of gaming performance. You'll need a decent amount of GPU power to be able to run games smoothly on the display's bumped up QHD+ resolution. Being a newer RTX 40 series card, the RTX 4060 also supports DLSS 3, which gives you a nice performance boost when you need it.

For an extra $90 you can choose the Dell G16 model with an upgraded 16" 2560×1600 display and a more powerful Intel Core i9 processor.

If you're looking for something with even more power, or with a bigger and higher resolution display, check out the best Alienware and Dell gaming deals today. There may be more deals on Alienware m-series and x-series gaming laptops, but at a higher price.
