Don’t miss out on this perfect opportunity to complete your home theater setup with great sounding, room-filling audio. The Sonos Spring Sale kicks off this week and, in my opinion, the best deals can be found in Sonos’ refurbished section. Refurbished products are already discounted by up to 25% on any given day, but today’s sale drops prices by yet another 15%-25% for some pretty incredible savings. This includes some of Sonos’ most popular products, like the versatile Era 100 smart speaker, the flagship Arc soundbar, and the Sonos Gen 3 subwoofer.
Sonos Refurbished Spring Sale
Note that Sonos refurbished products go through rigorous testing and look and work as if they were brand new. They come with all accessories, manuals, and documentation and are reshipped in “pristine” packaging. Most importantly, Sonos includes the same 1-year warranty as buying a retail product.
Sonos Arc Soundbar for $399
Black model is out of stock; White model is in stock
The release of the Arc Ultra doesn’t make the Arc any less of a great speaker. The 45″ soundbar houses eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers each paired with Class-D amplifiers. It’s capable of room filling audio by itself, but you’d still benefit from a separate subwoofer to round out the low end. Unlike the Sonos Beam, which only has virtual height channels, the Arc has two physical height channels for true Dolby Atmos support. The Arc also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatiblity, including voice control.
Sonos Era 100 Smart Speaker for $134
The Sonos Era 100 retails for $219 new, or you can save about 20% off a certified refurbished model for just $79. This is Sonos’ most popular and most versatile speaker. Despite its compact size, the Era 100 houses two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amplifiers to produce precise, distortion-free audio even at high volumes. It has a built-in microphone for smart functionality. Because of its flexibility, it’s often paired with a sound bar or a second Era speaker.
Sonos Beam (Gen 2) Soundbar for $399
The Sonos Beam is a great option for someone who requires a more compact sound bar or simply doesn’t want to spend $900 on the Arc Ultra. The Beam (Gen 2) is a 26-inch long, 5.0-channel soundbar with one tweeter and four mid-woofers for natural, balanced sound and four passive radiators to help with the low end. Although the Beam doesn’t have physical height channels, it has two virtual height channels for Dolby Atmos support. It has a microphone for voice control.
Sonos Sub (Gen 3) Subwoofer for $409
The audio savvy knows that a single speaker isn’t enough to reproduce an entire soundstage. If you could pick only one other speaker, then a subwoofer would make the most meaningful impact. Given how the Arc Ultra excels at the highs and mids, the subwoofer addition would be a no-brainer. The Sub 3 features dual inward-facing 5″x8″ woofers and a traditional ported design that allows for a louder and deeper low-end. It also has much more power than the Sub Mini and can reverberate the walls of any sized room in your house. There’s no better complement to the Arc Ultra.
Sonos Era 300 for $329
The Era 300 is a much bigger, better sounding version of the Era 100. It’s nearly double the size and weight. The Era 300 is also shaped differently, but there’s a reason for that. The hourglass figure is designed to optimally arrange the six speakers so that they fire sound in all directions, enhancing Dolby Atmos and spatial audio effects. The Era 300 consist of four tweeters and two woofers paired with Class-D digital amplifiers and custom waveguides to help project sound to all corners of your room. Like the Era 100, it also has a built-in microphone for voice control.
Sonos Move 2 Portable Speaker for $339
The Move 2 is Sonos’ biggest and best portable speaker. It’s size allows it to house two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amplifiers. This is a standalone speaker with a self-contained battery and can be carried around from room to room. The battery provides up to 24 hours of continuous playtime and a simple but effective docking station essentially turns it into a powered speaker. It is IP56 rated for weather resistance and has a built-in microphone so that it can accept voice commands and is compatible with smart assistants.
Sonos Ray Soundbar for $134
Black model is out of stock; White model is in stock
The Ray is Sonos’ most compact soundbar at just 22″ in length. This is a 2.0-channel stereo soundbar containing two tweeters and two woofers. It can be wirelessly controlled from the Sonos app, however it is not directly compatible with a smart assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant since it doesn’t have a built-in microphone.
Why Sonos?
If you’re looking for an easy solution to add great sound to your home, then you’ve probably already heard of Sonos. Sonos speakers are very easy to set up, don’t take a large amount of space, and most importantly, offer distortion-free room-filling audio. They’re definitely pricier than budget options, but the sound quality is comparable to speakers that cost hundreds more or take up much more space.
