The Best Magic: The Gathering Commander Deck Deals for Cyber Monday

Commander is Magic: The Gathering’s most popular format, giving players 100-card decks helmed by a powerful legendary creature with a game plan built around that card’s abilities, and it’s never been easy to get into.

That’s because Wizards of the Coast regularly prints preconstructed Commander decks that are a great way to jump in or try a new playstyle, and as part of Cyber Monday, we’ve found plenty worth a look at steep discounts.

From Universes Beyond to Magic’s own characters, here are our picks. And, don’t forget we have a guide to the best Magic Commander Decks around right now.

Final Fantasy

Kicking off with Universes Beyond: Final Fantasy, the June 2025 set defied expectations and set new records for Magic.

It doesn’t hurt that all four Commander Decks are pretty great, and while they did balloon in price for a time, fresh printings mean they’re easier to get hold of again.

We ranked the decks already, but they’re all solid. Counter Blitz arguably comes out on top, but it can be complex for newer players. Still, every deck is worth a look for fans of Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XIV.

Fallout

Another Universes Beyond set, if you’re a big fan of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG series and want to start playing Magic, then this is a great place to start.

We’ve found discounts on the Scrappy Survivors Commander deck, starring Dogmeat, Ever Loyal, which involves sending things to the graveyard and then pulling them out again, as well as the Token-generating Hail, Caesar deck, which sees you sacrificing cards for value.

Tarkir Dragonstorm

Tarkir: Dragonstorm was a fantastic set when it comes to Commander Decks, with a whopping five on offer to represent each of the realm’s clans.

There is a bundle that includes all five, but it’s increased in price in the last day or so. Thankfully, there are still sizeable savings on Temur Roar, Mardu Surge, Sultai Arisen, Jeskai Striker, and Abzan Armor.

Starter Commander Decks

Magic: The Gathering’s 2022 Commander Decks were intended to be played by newcomers, and as a result, they all pair nicely with each other to offer a relatively even playing field.

With that in mind, you can’t go wrong with any of them. While they’re up for $25 right now, these have fluctuated in price massively.

I’ve got a soft spot for Draconic Destruction – it was my first Commander Deck and still holds its own, with solid upgrade potential, too.

Bloomburrow

Don’t let Bloomburrow’s adorable creatures fool you – its Commander Decks are plenty powerful, and they’re seeing some discounts, too.

While you can save 5% on Animated Army and 18% on Peace Offering, Family Matters is down to just $33.45 and is well worth a look.

Can’t decide? A bundle including all four Bloomburrow decks (including Squirrelled Away, which often sells for $70-80 on its own) is reduced by 26%, making each deck $34.87.
