If the Star Wars movies have taught us anything, it's that nothing good happens when Jedi get married. Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala's whirlwind romance ended with Anakin becoming a homicidal, cybernetic tyrant and Padme dying of a broken heart. And Padme's daughter Leia didn't have much better luck in marrying Han Solo, as we all know how their kid turned out. But perhaps the Jedi of the High Republic era will have better luck?
That's certainly the hope. As the High Republic saga builds toward its big conclusion, Dark Horse and Lucasfilm Publishing are teasing a major celebration in a new standalone special called Star Wars: High Republic Adventures Wedding Spectacular. There, fellow Force sensitives Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala will be tying the knot. But in a galaxy still struggling under the conflict between the Republic and the space pirates known as the Nihil, is there any hope these two can actually pull off their big day?
IGN can exclusively debut a new teaser image for Star Wars: High Republic Adventures Wedding Spectacular, though this particular transmission has been encrypted. Dark Horse's only clue is the decryption key "Incoming message encrypted: Phase III".

Star Wars: High Republic Adventures Wedding Spectacular is written by Daniel José Older and drawn by a team of artists that includes Harvey Tolibao, Cherriielle, 5healthMONO, and Priscilla Bampoh. The creative team also includes colorist Michael Atiyeh and letterer Comicraft.
