Ahead of Prime Day, Amazon is offering Amazon Prime members this Baseus Blade 20,000mAh 100W USB power bank for only $53.99 after you clip the 10% coupon on the product page. This is a low price for a slim power bank featuring a generous 20,000mAh capacity and 100W USB Type-C charging output with Power Delivery 3.0 and PPS. Baseus hasn’t been long around enough to develop the same reputation as Anker, but their power banks have been steadily racking up favorable reviews and recommendations. They are also less expensive than an equivalent Anker model.
Baseus Blade 20,000mAh 100W Power Bank for $53.99
Amazon Prime member exclusive
The Baseus Blade features a wide and flat form factor that measures only 0.7 inches thin, unlike some of the chonkier candy bar style power banks like the Anker Prime. It’s also one of the lighter 20,000mAh power banks, weighing in at about 17 ounces.
The Baseus Blade has four ports: two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The USB-C ports feature a combined total of 100W of max output (charging your devices) and 65W of max input (charging your power bank). The USB-A ports are capable of delivering up to 18W of power. A sleek digital readout displays a lot of useful real-time information like remaining battery capacity, power input, and power output from each port.
This is a great Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck charger
The Baseus Blade is an excellent charger for handheld gaming consoles like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Switch. Both the ROG Ally and Steam Deck suffer from a short battery life when gaming on the go. During our Steam Deck review, we found games like God of War or Spider-Man would tap out in under two hours. At the end of the day, you’ll never get the full potential out of your Steam Deck or ROG Ally if you’re not equipped with a decent portable charger.
The Steam Deck accepts up to 38W of USB Power Delivery, ASUS ROG Ally accepts up to 65W, and the Nintendo Switch up to 18W. With its 100W power output over USB-C, the Baseus power bank can easily charge a Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Nintendo Switch all at their maximum charging rate. The 20,000mAh battery capacity means that you’ll be able to keep any of these consoles topped off for several hours, more than enough for even the longest flights.
The Baseus Blade Is TSA-Approved
The Baseus Blade features a 20,000mAh 74Whr capacity, which is well below TSA’s 27,000mAh 100Whr limit, so it can be brought onto airplanes. It’s also low-profile enough that no one will probably take notice in the first place. If a TSA official actually does take the initiative to test the wattage on your power bank, you’re well in the clear.
