Return to Silent Hill: Teaser Trailer Revealed for Third Movie Based on Konami Game Franchise

The first teaser trailer for Return to Silent Hill was released today and can be viewed below.

Christophe Gans, who directed 2006’s Silent Hill, is back behind the camera for the sequel,. He also co-wrote the film with Sandra Vo-Anh and William Schneider.

“Return to Silent Hill is an adaptation created out of deep respect for a true masterpiece of a game, Konami’s iconic Silent Hill 2. I hope fans will enjoy and be fulfilled with the experience this new film has to offer,” Gans said in May when Cineverse acquired the movie for US distribution.

Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson star as James Sunderland and Mary Crane.

“When James receives a mysterious letter from his lost love Mary, he is drawn to Silent Hill—a once-familiar town now consumed by darkness,” according to the official synopsis.

“As he searches for her, James faces monstrous creatures and unravels a terrifying truth that will push him to the edge of his sanity.”

The movie’s producers include Davis Films, Samuel Hadida, and Victor Hadida.

Return to Silent Hill will be released on January 23, 2026.
