Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will start on the same day as the Switch 2 Direct, April 2, according to an official blog post recently released by Best Buy Canada.
The blog post is a comprehensive guide on how to pre-order the Switch 2, and states: “Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will open on April 2nd at Best Buy Canada.”
It’s yet to be confirmed if it’s just Best Buy Canada commencing pre-orders on April 2, or whether other major retailers will follow suit.
Best Buy’s Switch 2 page for the U.S. is yet to have any mention of a pre-order start date, but it does allow users to sign up to be notified of news on pre-orders.
Switch 2 was revealed near the start of the year, with a short trailer from Nintendo confirming the new hardware alongside a brand new Mario Kart game, and closed with confirmation of a Switch 2 Direct presentation on April 2.
