Lenovo is offering a great deal on a Lenovo LOQ RTX 4060 gaming laptop. Right now it’s on sale for only $759.99, a $240 price drop from its $1000 MSRP. This is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for a new (not refurbished) RTX 4060 equipped gaming laptop from anywhere, let alone from Lenovo.
Lenovo LOQ 15″ RTX 4060 Gaming Laptop for $760
The LOQ is Lenovo’s lineup of budget-oriented gaming laptops. They’re considerably less expensive than Legion laptops, but they still offer very solid build quality with ample amounts of cooling and good performance. The tradeoffs are a heavier weight, less premium materials, and a lower resolution display, features many people are willing to overlook for the significantly lower price tag. This model features a 15″ 1080p display, a low-voltage AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS is a low voltage processor with a boost clock of 4.5GHz and 8 cores and 16 threads. It’s identical to the 7735HS but without an IGPU, so it’s best paired with a low voltage discrete GPU to save on battery life, like the RTX 4060 this model is equipped with.
It’s important to note that the equipped GeForce RTX 4060 mobile has a max TGP of 105W, which is below the 140W TGP you’ll find on the most powerful RTX 4060 gaming laptops like the Legions.You’re going to compromise a bit on gaming performance, but you’ll also get a cooler running laptop with a longer battery life. Besides, the Legion laptop needs a more powerful GPU because of its higher resolution 2560×1600 display. On the other hand, even a lower voltage RTX 4060 mobile should run just about any game comfortably on the LOQ’s 1080p (FHD) display.
