The Pixar film — which became the highest grossing animated film of all time during its box office run — will be available on Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home on August 20, though no Disney+ streaming window was announced.
Pixar chief creative officer Pete Docter previously told Time the film had a 100 day release window, however, which would set it for September 22, 2024.
Fans of physical media can pick up Inside Out 2 on September 20 on 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. A limited edition Collectible Steelbook version will be available alongside the 4K Blu-ray.
Extras include the New Emotions and Unlocking the Vault bonus features alongside five deleted scenes: Cold Open, Broken Joy, Pool Party, Puberty Park, and Shame Spiral.
In our 7/10 review of the film, IGN said: “Inside Out 2 may be conceptually smart, but it doesn’t pack the original’s emotional punch.”
