Art the Clown has returned for a third movie in Damien Leone’s gorefest Terrifier series. And while we may be creeping up on Halloween, the Terrifier threequel is… Christmas-themed?
In our review of Terrifier 3, we said, “Damien Leone’s beloved, slaughterhouse-scrappy franchise nails the art (heh) of the kill once more… with extreme practical gore effects and a dedication to making its audience wince.” The horror movie reportedly has people walking out in disgust in the first 10 minutes and was the first movie to receive an 18+ ratings ban in France since Saw 3. In other words, it might be the slasher of the year.

Terrifier 3 Streaming Release Date
As an independent horror movie, we don’t for sure when Terrifier 3 will end up on streaming. We do know Terrifier 3 will eventually be available to stream on ScreamBox, which is owned by the movie’s distributor, Cineverse.
Terrifier 2 was in theaters for less than four weeks before becoming available on ScreamBox, and became available to buy from digital storefronts about a week after that. Based on that, we could see Terrifier 3 streaming online by the end of November.
If Terrifier 3 performs well at the box office, its theatrical run may be extended, keeping it off streaming until later in the year.
Terrifier 3 Physical Release Date
Terrifier and Terrifier 2 are both available on Blu-ray, so we’ll definitely get a physical release for Terrifier 3 at some point. No details have been announced, however.

Terrifier 3 sees the previous movie’s “Final Girl” Sienna continuing to face her killer clown nemesis. Here’s the movie’s official synopsis:
After surviving Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother struggle to rebuild their shattered lives. As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the Christmas spirit and leave the horrors of the past behind. However, just when they think they’re safe, Art returns, determined to turn their holiday cheer into a new nightmare.
