Megalopolis is now available to rent from digital platforms, including Prime Video.
Megalopolis will eventually be released on Starz, rather than Netflix or Disney+, followed by Peacock, given distributor Lionsgate’s licensing deals.
Lionsgate has yet to announce a streaming release date for Megalopolis. Two of the distributor’s most recent movies – The Strangers: Chapter One and Imaginary – had a 136- and 180-day gap between their theatrical and streaming debuts. Should the distributor follow suit here, Megalopolis would come to Starz between mid-February and late March 2025.
4K and Blu-Ray Release Date
Although the film is still in theaters, you can already preorder the 4K and Blu-ray versions of this film on Amazon. There is not yet a release date for the physical version, but you can likely expect it will fall sometime in early 2025.
