Dispatch, the hit superhero workplace comedy game, will finally land on Xbox consoles this summer.
As announced during today’s Xbox Partner Preview showcase, Dispatch is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud at some point in the summer months (though a specific date was not mentioned).
There was no mention, either, of Dispatch landing into Xbox Game Pass, which a shame. Still, the laugh-out-loud superpowered adventure is well worth a look anyway, as you send a team of reformed misfits out to save the world, and each other.
Dispatch originally launched on PC and PlayStation 5 last October, with episodic chapters releasing weekly. The game then turned up on Switch and Switch 2 in January to no small amount of controversy, as it unexpectedly featured awkward censorship covering up brief in-game nudity and even someone flipping the bird.
That situation aside, the general reception to Dispatch has been very positive, with word of more seasons and even an animated series on the way. “A true spiritual successor to the Telltale Games of the 2010s, Dispatch cleverly toes the line between TV show and video game, delivering on both halves in equal measure,” IGN wrote in our Dispatch review, awarding the game 9/10.
