Gruv's 3 for $30 March Madness sale on 4K Blu-rays is still ongoing, and there are dozens of awesome comic book films that personally caught my eye. This is by no means an exhaustive list, as there are over 250 movies included in the sale, but these are some of the live-action and animated comic book flicks I'd recommend bundling together to pad out your physical media collection.
Live-Action Comic Book Movies
The deal has a ton of live-action comic book movies to pick from, but you'll notice that the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is not among them. That's because Gruv is technically the direct distributor for Warner Bros., so instead you're looking at all things DC.
Highlights include the original Batman films from the 80's and 90's, Man of Steel, and Wonder Woman 1984. If you're after something a little different and away from the typical superhero story, Zack Snyder's 300 and V for Vendetta are definitely ones to add to your watchlists. Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World is another faithful adaption and a particularly famous Michael Cera performance.
Animated Comic Book Movies
There are just as many (if not more) animated comic book adapations, and they're just as good as their live-action counterparts. I would even go so far as to say that some of them are even better, and just happen to be slept on by general audiences.
Watchmen Chapter 1 is another adaption of Alan Moore's timeless political epic, but unfortunately Chapter 2 isn't a part of this bundle deal. The LEGO Batman Movie is a hilarious iteration of the Caped Crusader with a great voice over performance by Will Arnett, and Batman: The Long Halloween is a serviceable retelling of one my personal favorite Batman graphic novels.
Regardless of which movie you decide to pick for your 3 for $30 deal, you'll get incredible value. Each one individually costs between $12 and $18, so with free standard shipping it's hard to resist saving a few bucks, especially if any of these comic book movies have been on your radar for awhile.
