Grab the Powerful HP Omen Max 16 RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop for an Incredible Price

Starting today, HP is offering an incredible “Memorial Day deal” on a high-end gaming laptop that’s better than any deal we saw on actual Memorial Day. Right now, you can pick up the powerful Omen Max 16 GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop for just $2,079.99 shipped after you apply a 20% off coupon code “LEVELUP20“. The previous lowest price I saw for this exact configuration was $2,700. The RTX 5080 is one of the best mobile GPUs out there, even surpassing the previous generation’s top performer, the GeForce RTX 4090.

HP Omen Max 16″ RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop for $2,080

This HP Omen Max 16 laptop is configured with a 16″ 2560×1600 display, Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Core Ultra 9 275HX boasts a max turbo frequency of 5.4GHz with 24 cores and 40MB total L2 cache. According to Passmark, this is one of the fastest laptop processor on the market, going toe to toe with the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D.

According to Tom’s Hardware, the RTX 5080 mobile GPU is roughly 15%-20% more powerful than the RTX 4080 mobile GPU that it replaces. It also happens to be about 5% more powerful than the RTX 4090, which was the previous generation’s flagship card. The RTX 5080 appears to be a better value than the much pricier RTX 5090 as well. It only lags by about 15% despite being nearly $1,000 cheaper. This GPU should be able to run new and upcoming games at high framerates even on the display’s 2560×1600 native resolution.

The Omen Max is new for 2025

The Omen Max is essentially a “premium” Omen 16 with better materials – like an aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis and lid – and a beefier cooling system to accommodate current generation hardware.
