In addition to the Season 2 finale of House of the Dragon, Max has shared the first teaser trailer for the Game of Thrones spin-off series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
These few seconds of footage focus on Peter Claffey’s Ser Duncan the Tall and introduce us to the knight who will star in this prequel alongside Dexter Sol Ansell’s Egg.

“A century before the events of ‘Game of Thrones,’” the official logline says, “two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”
This series is being adapted from George R.R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and Mystery Knight, and HBO is eyeing a three-season run for the show. It’s also been confirmed that Season 1 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will consist of six episodes.
