Dynamite Entertainment Reveals Transformers 40th Anniversary Trading Cards

2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the Transformers franchise. We’re seeing various companies mark that milestone in different ways, from the release of the very first Hot Wheels Transformers figure to the debut of the animated film Transformers One. Now Dynamite Entertainment is getting in on the action with a new line of Transformers trading cards.

IGN can exclusively debut images of Dynamite’s Transformers 40th Anniversary Trading Card line, which is being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. heck them out in the slideshow gallery below:

Backers have the option of two different types of trading card packs. The “Traditional Collector’s Series” packs feature 10 cards with randomly assorted rares, with the card types including base cards, holofoil cards, signed cards, metal cards, and creator cards. The “Deluxe Ultra Premium Series” packs feature 7 cards – two base cards, two sketch cards, one line art card, one signed card, and one connecting card.

The Kickstarter campaign includes other optional extras like a card binder, storage box, uncut card sheet, and exclusive metal cards. Additionally, all backers who sign up within the first 48 hours will receive an exclusive 5″x7″ card.

Appropriately enough, the Kickstarter campaign has a funding goal of $19,840, with additional stretch goals being unlocked at $84,000, $150,000, and $198,400.
