Dying Light: The Beast Announces Restored Land Update That Adds Lots of Free Content

Dying Light: The Beast developer Techland has announced a new edition of its first-person zombie-slaying game. It's called Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land, and it includes the full game, all post-release content, and new Restored Land content. It launches on March 26 and is free for existing players of Dying Light: The Beast.

In that new Restored Land content, neither enemies nor loot respawn and thus the world is persistent. Killing all zombies in an area grardually restores the map to its pre-apocalyptic state, complete with non-zombified humans. Plus, there are competitive vehicular challenges called Roadkill Rallies, an optional One Life option for Restored Land that wipes your save file if you die. Watch Techland's new behind-the-scenes video above.

Techland also promises "many more additions and enhancements" that will be revealed on Restored Land's release date later this week. In the meantime, don't miss IGN's review of Dying Light: The Beast as well as the 8 Things Dying Light: The Beast Doesn't Tell You.
