After over a month of zero units available, Dell Outlet has finally restocked its inventory of Clearance, Like New (Refurbished) and Scratch & Dent Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PCs. There are currently several dozen different configurations available, and they are priced very competitively. For example, you can pick up a well-equipped Alienware RTX 5080 gaming PC with a one year Dell warranty for under $2,000. Curiously, Dell Outlet also has a limited number of RTX 4090 gaming PCs in stock for reasonable prices. That’s pretty surprising considering the fact that RTX 4090 GPUs are discontinued, difficult to find, and the resale value on them is spectacularly high at the moment.

These previously owned products could have observable minor blemishes that do not affect performance, or could look as good as new. Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 4090 PC Deals
Despite being a generation old, the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card is still the second most powerful GPU on the market, besting even the new RTX 5080. It also has the second most amount of VRAM at 24GB, making it a great card for anyone dabbling in AI. Considering the fact than an Alienware RTX 5090 gaming PC will run you over $4,500, a sub-$3,000 RTX 4090 system sounds like a bargain. It’s increasingly more difficult to find an RTX 4090 prebuilt at all, since Nvidia has already discontinued the GPU. The graphics card is also selling for abnormally high prices on eBay, even though RTX 5090 GPUs have come down in price and are more readily available.

The RTX 4090 may be huge and expensive, but holy smokes if it doesn’t blow the competition out of the water. That’s a little unfair because it’s currently the only card of this new generation that’s available, so we only have cards from the past few years to compare it to. But until the rest of the pack can catch up, between its impressive hardware specs and its DLSS 3 AI wizardry, even the $1,599 price doesn’t seem unreasonable for the unrivaled frame rates that this card can crank out.
Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 PC Deals
The RTX 5080 is the second best Blackwell graphics card, surpassed only by the $2,000 RTX 5090. It’s about 5%-10% faster than the previous generation RTX 4080 Super, which is discontinued and no longer available. In games that support DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation exclusive to Blackwell cards, the gap widens. This is an outstanding card for playing even the latest games at 4K resolution with high settings and ray tracing enabled.

Among the new Blackwell releases, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is probably our favorite model. It is definitely the most affordable Nvidia graphics card that I’d recommend for gaming in 4K with consistent frame rates of at least 60fps. Compared to the previous generation cards, it’s roughly comparable to an RTX 4080 Super but with the added benefit of DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation.

The RTX 5070 performs comparably with the RTX 4070 Super and is a solid choice for gaming at 1080p or 1440p at frame rates of 60fps or higher. The gap widens in favor of the RTX 5070 in games that support DLSS 4. For FPS gamers with 1080p monitors, this is a good budget option for achieving 144fps or higher for smoother gameplay.

“The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 is complicated. It does what it says on the tin: play games at 1440p at a high frame rate. But the problem is that it doesn’t necessarily do that better than the RTX 4070 Super, or any other graphics card in this price range. It does add Multi Frame Generation, which is nice to have for anyone with a high-refresh monitor, but that alone isn’t worth the upgrade.”
