As a Certified Bat-Fan, These Are the Batman Comic Deals I'd Grab Before Prime Day Ends

Prime Day ends tonight, but you can still pick up tons of great deals. Amazon's buy 2, get 1 free promotion includes hundreds of different comics, books, and magazines. Whether you're looking to line your shelves or dip your toes into the hobby for the first time, there's quite literally something for everybody.

As a certified Bat-fan, I've compiled some of the best stories of our beloved Caped Crusader you can pick up on the cheap. If you prefer to read comics digitally, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is $100 off for Prime Day and is the best way to read these Batman stories online. You can even get a three-month trial of Kindle Unlimited for free to test it out.

Some of the Best Batman Graphic Novels Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free During Prime Day

The Batman comics available with the buy 2, get 1 free deal are seemingly endless. Over the years, there's been reboot after reboot on almost all of DC's titles, and many of them are included in this bundle promotion.

One of the more recent entries is James Tynion IV's Batman Omnibus Vol. 1, which introduces a new fan-favorite villain and new Joker love interest in Punchline, a colder and deadlier foil to Harley Quinn. There's also timeless iconic classics like Frank Miller's Batman: Year One and the Dark Knight Returns, and a personal favorite of mine in Batman: The Long Halloween as well as its sequel, Dark Victory.

Powerhouse duo Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's time on Batman is another one of the most legendary contemporary runs, and the Court of Owls have quickly become a staple in Batman's mythos. Volume One of this story is the perfect place to start if you're just getting into reading Batman.

And it wouldn't be a Batman article without mentioning Alan Moore's The Killing Joke, which is easily the greatest Batman story ever told. It's currently just over $10 and is a relatively quick read – you have no reason not to check this one out.

Other Batman Comics On Sale During Prime Day

While the buy 2, get 1 free deal is awesome, there are some deals that unfortunately don't qualify. Absolute Batman volume one by Scott Snyder is available for preorder at a small discount, and Grant Morrison's Batman omnibus is on sale, and is incredible. Seriously, how haven't we had a live-action or animated adaptation of Dr. Hurt yet? Then there's Knightfall; if you've seen The Dark Knight Rises, this story directly influenced Christopher Nolan's portrayal of Bane.

Most of these comics are available for great deal prices, so you won't break the bank too hard by picking any of these up.
