All Your Prime Day 2025 Questions Answered, Including When Do Prime Day Deals End?

Amazon Prime Day 2025 deals are here, bringing us four whole days of discounts versus two days last year. As you know, Prime Day offers significant price cuts across many categories and top brands, from AirPods to Adidas. If you are a deal hunter or just casually shopping around for stuff you may need, there are some things you should consider. Our IGN commerce team knows a thing or two about deals, so we answered the most popular Prime Day shopping questions below.

1. What Time Does Prime Day End?

Prime Day 2025 officially ends on Friday, July 11th at 11:59pm.

2. Do Prime Day deals change throughout the day?

Yes, they can. Not only do some items go out of stock completely on the same day, but deals can end seemingly without warning. (I know, it’s a shame.) That said, don’t hesitate to get an item you want, especially if it’s a big-ticket item or a Lightning deal, which comes and goes fast, as the name suggests. Many deals have a % bar that fills eventually based on limited stock available, so pay attention to these labels throughout the day. Buy sooner rather than later in the event if you can swing it!

3. Can You Return Prime Day Deals’ Products?

If you end up wanting to return something you bought during Prime Day, you most likely can return it with no issue. In the rare case you ordered something during Prime Day (day one) that actually dropped in price day-to-day (on Prime Day day two, three or four), you can usually return it and buy it again the following day. According to Amazon, all return-eligible items, weighing under 50 lbs and sold by Amazon, have at least one free return option.

How to return an eligible item you ordered, according to Amazon.com:

Go to Your Orders to display your recent orders. To return a gift, go to Return a Gift.Choose the order and select Return or Replace Items.Select the item you want to return. Then select an option from the Reason for return menu.Choose how to process your return. If applicable, select to issue a refund or replacement. For items sold from an Amazon seller, you’ll see Submit return request. The Amazon seller reviews return requests before issuing a refund or replacement. For more information, go to Returns to Third-Party Sellers. If you don’t receive a response within two business days, you can request an A-to-z Guarantee Refund.Select your preferred return method.Print your return label and return authorization.Add your return label (if applicable) and package your items for return.

4. Do You Need to Be a Prime Member to Shop Amazon Prime Day Deals?

Yes, you need a (paid) Amazon Prime Membership to take full advantage of Prime Day. If you’re new, you can try it out with a 30-day free trial. If you don’t want to commit to an annual membership, Amazon offers a one-month plan for $14.99. If needed, it’s easy to cancel your membership at any time, if desired.

5. Is There Another Amazon Prime Day in 2025?

Technically, yes! Amazon will likely continue its tradition of hosting a “second” Prime Day in the fall, which usually takes place sometime in the middle of October. However, it’s not typically as big as July’s Prime Day event. Other retailers will also offer fall sales before Black Friday season starts in November. See all the upcoming 2025 sales events happening after Prime Day, including the next-in-line sales season, Labor Day (estimated to begin at the end of August through Labor Day on Sept. 1).

What should I shop for before Prime Day ends?

These are our handpicked best Prime Day deals you can still shop now:

PlayStation Portal (Used: Like New) $124.12PS5 DualSense Edge Controller (Used: Like New) for $142.61Apple AirPods Pro for $149Apple AirPods 4 with Noise Canceling for $119Apple iPad (Newest) for $279.99Apple AirPods 4 without Noise Canceling for $89Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB SSD for $113.99Meta Quest 3S 128GB VR Headset for $249.99Meta Quest 3S 256GB with Batman Game for $329.99Apple Watch Series 10 for $279.99

Are Prime Day deals the same throughout the four days?

Not necessarily, but they can be. Some deals will carry over across all days, but some will expire or sell out before then. Similar to the above question, each sales day can bring changes, so you don’t want to wait too long to grab a deal on something you know you want to order. Day one and two may have more Apple sales, and day three and four may have more kitchen appliance sales, for example. We don’t usually see the same item go down in price day-to-day, so we wouldn’t advise waiting around for further discounts to come tomorrow—that’s pretty risky.

With the above knowledge that deals may expire or popular products may run out of stock at any given moment, it’s best to get the product you want before the last day. Remember, Prime Day officially ends at 11:59pm PT on Friday, July 11th. You can still become a Prime Member if you want to capture some of the best deals of the year.
